Business Strategy

DRUG DELIVERY SOLUTION INTEGRATOR
InJet will derive revenue from selling the drug delivery devices as an OEM or from royalties derived from licensing the technology to pharmaceutical companies and/or healthcare providers or, in the case of nicotine, from products co-branded with international joint venture partners. The company will also receive R&D revenues by partnering on the formulation of numerous drugs for delivery with our patented technology, and for technical support of pharmaceutical companies during trials and FDA approval. The company is working with leading technology partners in the areas of thermal ink jet printing, batteries, Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs – i.e., custom chips), and device packaging. All manufacturing will be outsourced to partners who are the dominant providers of technology in their specific areas. Final component assembly and testing and certification will be done to our specifications and shipped to our customers or channel partners.

JOINTLY LEVERAGING ASSETS TO PROVIDE VALUE TO CUSTOMERS
InJet is continually building a pipeline of products. Our partnering philosophy is to identify and secure agreements with partners based on the assets they bring to the table – development expertise, formulation expertise, regulatory expertise, and marketing prowess. Our selection of specific target applications is based on speed to market and product value. Our partnerships will continue to be designed and structured to jointly leverage skills, abilities, and resources in a manner which will provide value for all customers – Patients, Physicians, Payors, and Employers.

Technology

CONVERGENCE OF TWO INDUSTRIES
InJet is leveraging the convergence of the electronics and pharmaceutical industries by developing a digital inhaler utilizing custom developed Thermal Droplet Ejection (TDE) printer technology. Its technology partners are Fortune 500 companies, dominant in the electronics industry, who are continually developing and enhancing the Company’s core technologies. This offers the benefits of high volume production of digital components – consistency, quality and low cost – married to the emerging needs of healthcare consumers, providers and funders. Independent laboratories have confirmed that our technology and business objectives are achievable. Prototype devices have been developed and the company has demonstrated that it can generate specific particle sizes, which target all segments of the airway, from the nasal passages to the deep lung for systemic absorption.

Intellectual Property

STRONG INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY POSITION
The Company is aggressively pursuing worldwide patent protection for its proprietary technology. InJet has two patents granted in the U.S. and one in Australia for the pulmonary delivery of liquid medications using thermal droplet ejection and piezo crystal technology. Fifteen additional international patent applications have been filed on formulation patents, device improvements and extensions. The company is continuing to prepare and file new patent applications to protect its ongoing technologic developments.
